House Update
We are going to our design center appointment tomorrow. This is where we make all the color/non-structural decisions for the house in a 3-4 hour time period. We have about 10 days to make our final decisions then we cannot change anything.
Talk about pressure!
We are hoping to keep upgrades to a minimum and know what most of them will be and cost. Some main things we are upgrading are the following:
- Upgraded siding color
- Adding an extra outlet to garage
- Upgrading the hardwood floors to a better color
- Choosing our cabinets - We are getting a modern espresso cabinet
- Maybe upgrading the tile in upstairs bathrooms
- Adding insulation between floors and in lesson room
Other house updates:
- We may have gotten permits today! We will find out tomorrow on this one.
- We bought our cabinet handles at IKEA over the weekend!
- Patrick got to visit his future yard
All in all, I’m very excited for tomorrow!
